Jewellery Making. (Complete Beginners)
This is a one evening a week class for 5 weeks.
About the Course
This course is great for beginners to learn some basic silver-working techniques: texturing, soldering, piercing, drilling, stamping, colouring, forming, and basic- enamelling.
This course prepares you to take the Improvers course at a later date which moves on to expand your experience and introduce stone-setting and enamelling.
It is run by Fiona Cocks BA(Hons) who is has been teaching classes for over 10 years. She is enthusiastic and fun. The 2.5 hour sessions takes place in the workshops of Bigbury Mint, which is in Ermington, near Ivybridge, in the heart of the South Hams area of Devon.
Courses run on Thurdays evenings. We can take group-bookings at other times as well.
What’s included in the price?
All tools and materials are provided. Turn up ready for a 6pm start on Thursday evenings with clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, and shoes suitable for a workshop (not flip-flops or sandals). parking is available right outside.

You need to pay for your course in full before booking is confirmed. Phone 01548 830717 to make a payment. Please note that full refunds can only given with a minimum of 30 days notice. If the notice is less than 30 days, then we can only refund 50% of your payment. We retain the right to refuse entry to anyone who is aggressive or under the influence of drugs including alcohol.
