Description

From our own unique “Town Coins” range – this coin is struck at Bigbury Mint in Devon and only available directly from us. Ivybridge is a town on the southern edge of Dartmoor National Park in South Devon. This makes a lovely souvenir that will last for a lifetime.

The 25mm diameter Ivybridge Fiver coin (Ivy Fiver) is made from brass.

It has the name ‘Ivybridge’ on the front of the coin with an image of Stowford papermill for which the town is mainly known. It also shows its massive railway viaduct, with Western Beacon in the background and the old stone bridge in the foreground.

On the back is a depiction of the figure 5 and the crossed keys crest of its twin town in France, Saint Pierre sur Dives, surrounded by an ivy wreath design.
