Harrow School Lion Medal
In 2022 Harrow School celebrated the 450th anniversary of its foundation in 1572. In recognition of this anniversary Bigbury Mint was commissioned to create a commemorative medal. This year, the Mint was again asked to make another medal. Designs were sent to the company and interpreted into 3D by Matthew Holland, sculpting in plaster. The front of the medal shows the Harrow lion. The back shows the School’s Wreath and Arrows motif and the Latin text ‘Archididasculas pro decore d. d.’
