The Ripley Gold medal.

Gold-plated 50mm diameter medal.

The obverse shows the oldest part of the school. Around the top part of the design, the text reads ‘Ripley St Thomas’ and ‘Founded 1864 Lancaster’ at the bottom. Plaster model carved by Matthew Holland.

The reverse contains the text ‘The Ripley Gold Medal, In recognition of outstanding service. Believe….’

Ripley also have a similar medal which is a silver-plated version of the same medal but with a different reverse, which reads’ ‘The Ripley Medal, For leadership and service. Believe…’
