Medal-making requires us to learn many different craft skills, some of which could be ‘lost’ as technologies change. Many of these traditional skills are directly transferable to making jewellery as well. We think it’s so important to teach and pass on these skills and techniques. They are fun and satisfying to do and they may be useful in the future either because we place a higher value on something directly made by humans or because they require very little non-renewable energy.
*NEW* Sea Glass Pendant
Make a Sea Glass pendant out of silver. Learn the skills of soldering, texturing and shaping to create a unique setting. You can bring a piece of sea glass or use some of ours.

Ring Workshop (stacking rings or personalised ring)
Choose to make either a set of three stacking rings from your choice of available metals including solid silver, copper, and/or brass. Or choose to make two personalised rings, one in solid silver and one in copper, using hand punches to decorate with your own personal design.

Spinner Ring Workshop
Make a silver spinner ring textured to your own design and accented with a metal of your choice to create a unique design, perfect for fiddling with discreetly while you wear (also known as fidget or worry rings).

Personalised Jewellery Workshop
Make a pendant and a pair of drop earrings to your own personal design, using silver and/or copper elements. You will learn to cut, texture, hammer, drill, punch, and polish to give a smooth professional finish. The possibilities are endless to the design you can create with traditional techniques and your imagination.

Adjustable Ring
Make two rings from solid silver wire (1 thick, 1 thin), learn to measure, shape, texture & solder decorations on. Leaving the ring open so it is fully adjustable. Ideal as a gift, or if you suffer from swollen fingers or arthritis.
