Territorial & Army Volunteer Reserve Medal EIIR Miniature

Instituted: 17 October 1930.

Branch of Service: Territorial Army (UK), Indian Volunteer Forces and Colonial Auxiliary Forces.

Ribbon: 32mm green with yellow edges. Members of the Honourable Artillery Company wear half blue, half scarlet ribbon, with yellow edges.

Description: An oval silver medal. (Obverse) the monarch’s effigy; (reverse) inscribed FOR EFFICIENT SERVICE. Fixed suspender bar decorated with a pair of palm leaves surmounted by a scroll inscribed T&AVR.

Bar for additional periods of 6 years worn on the medal ribbon. The bar is represented by a silver rosette when the ribbon only is worn.
