Leeds University Peter Wilson Prize Medal.

75mm diameter gold-plated silver.

The obverse shows Peter Wilson, who has ‘made a significant contribution to the development and communication of science and engineering in the nuclear industry’.   The award is made to a postgraduate research student at the University of Leeds (www.leeds.ac.uk).  The plaster model was carved by David Holland.

The reverse shows the inscription ‘For Research and Communication, University of Leeds’. It also shows the University Crest. The ‘pattern’ of squares is a codified message.  Designed and plaster model carved by David Holland.
