50mm diameter bronze.

The obverse shows the Gateshead crest and the title ‘Borough of Gateshead’.  The plaster model was carved by David Holland.

The reverse shows the British Citizenship logo and the text  ‘In Celebration of the Award of British Citizenship’.

Around the upper edge is written ‘Presented by Gateshead Council’.
